Grief and loss
Love with
nowhere left to go.
Grief doesn’t move in a straight line, no matter what anyone tells
you. Whether you lost a person, a pet, or a piece of life you
counted on, that’s not a sign you’re doing it wrong.
Does this sound familiar?
A song, a smell, or an ordinary moment can bring it all back, all at once.
You feel guilty for laughing, or for a moment when you forgot, even briefly.
You’re exhausted in a way sleep doesn’t seem to touch.
Some days you want to talk about them, and some days it’s too much to even hear their name.
People might not understand why this hits as hard as it does, but you don’t need their permission to grieve.
The world kept moving, and part of you is still angry that it did.
There’s no timeline you’re supposed to be on.
It means you loved someone, or something, deeply enough that losing it changed you. You don’t have to carry that alone, and you don’t have to carry it perfectly.
Talk to someone who can sit with you in this, at whatever pace you need.
We work with EMDR, CPT, DBT, PGDT, and somatic approaches, alongside grief-informed support.
